In keeping with Delgado's Mission Statement, the School of Allied Health sends graduates into the workforce with all of the skills necessary to achieve a rewarding career. Allied Health plays an essential role in the delivery of healthcare and related services in the U.S. and throughout the world.

Delgado’s School of Allied Health is the largest educator of allied health professionals in the state of Louisiana offering twenty-five nationally accredited allied health programs.  The mission of the School of Allied Health is to provide exceptional education, training and career opportunities for aspiring healthcare professionals, equipping them with the knowledge, skills and compassion necessary to excel in their chosen allied health fields.  We are dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes collaboration, innovation and the highest standards of patient care.

We offer 25 nationally accredited healthcare programs that cater to diverse interests and aspirations, and strive to equip our students with the knowledge, skills, and compassion necessary to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

Our exceptional faculty members bring a wealth of clinical experience and expertise to the classroom, ensuring that you receive a comprehensive education that aligns with the latest advancements in healthcare. They are not only passionate about teaching, but also dedicated to cultivating a culture of inquiry, critical thinking, and lifelong learning.
