Licensed Practical Nurse to Registered Nurse (LPN-RN) Options

LPNs have the option of completing the Charity School of Nursing curriculum through one of two tracks:

1. Generic - complete the entire curriculum
2. LPN-RN Transition option - credit for experience with 3 semesters of nursing courses to complete.

Enrollment is limited in the nursing programs. Applicants are selected by a CSN Applicant Rating System, ranking applicants based on the pre-nursing entrance exam (Math, English, Reading, Science and Critical Thinking); GPA (of any college course taken); Delgado GPA (if applicable); and
academic history.

Graduates of Delgado Community College Charity School of Nursing PN Program are guaranteed admission into the LPN-RN program after meeting program requirements.
