School of Liberal Arts, Social Sciences, and Education
In keeping with Delgado's Mission Statement, the School of Liberal Arts, Social Science,
and Education (LASSE) provides a comprehensive education in the fine arts, humanities,
and social sciences. The school is also dedicated to the improvement of the fundamental
skills of reading, writing, and comprehension and to the provision of a functional
understanding of the relationship between language and thought.

The School of Liberal Arts, Social Science, and Education (LASSE) is dedicated to
providing you a rigorous and relevant education in a welcoming and supportive environment.
With over 21 disciplines and 8 programs, most students spend time in at least one
of our courses in their pursuit of a degree or other credential. Our professors have
extensive experience in the classroom and in the field and are committed to sharing
their expertise with you. Whether you are a student in our programs or are just passing
through, we extend a welcome to you and are always available to assist.
