(New Orleans) – The Delgado Community College Foundation will host the 6th Annual Building Futures Scholarship Luncheon on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Galerie de Galatoire, 211 Royal Street in New Orleans. Established in 2020 by Todd Trosclair, a Delgado alumnus, local businessman, and board member of the Delgado Community College Foundation, the Foundation’s Building Futures Scholarship is strongly supported by local businesses, alumni, and supporters who are invested in Delgado’s role of providing high-caliber education and training that meets workforce development demands.
To date, Delgado has awarded approximately $2M in scholarships to support students in their academic endeavors.
Delgado Chancellor Dr. Larissa Littleton-Steib said: “The Delgado Community College Foundation plays an instrumental role in securing private resources for scholarships and other philanthropic initiatives that support the College. The Building Futures Scholarship fund fosters hope and opportunity for Delgado students as they embark on new career paths. We appreciate the leadership and compassion of the Foundation and every supporter who invests in our students. ”
Trosclair said: “I know firsthand how transformative Delgado can be in the life of a student and am honored to see the Building Futures Scholarship grow into the resource it has become. When our students succeed, our communities thrive, and the local economy is strengthened. The Foundation and the Building Futures scholarship remain committed to such success.”
