Roast of Governor John Bel Edwards Highlights Delgado Foundation’s Annual Fundraising Event on April 20

The Delgado Community College Foundation will host the 2018 Roast of the Town fundraising event on Friday, April 20, 2018, at the Harrah’s New Orleans Theater, 8 Canal Street, New Orleans. Proceeds from the event will benefit scholarships and programs at Delgado Community College.
The event will roast Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards. Roasters will include former Louisiana Governor Edwin Edwards, Louisiana State Senator Troy Carter, Orleans Parish Clerk of Civil District Court Dale Atkins (now judge-elect 4thCircuit Court of Appeal), Speaker Pro Tempore of the Louisiana House of Representatives Walt Leger III and New Orleans City Council Member-elect Helena Moreno.
Eric Paulsen, WWL-TV news anchor, will be the Master of Ceremonies.
The evening will include a reception and silent auction beginning at 7 p.m., followed by dinner, the roast and a live auction. A $10,000 raffle will be held for the purchase of $100 per ticket.
