Youth Occupational Skills Training Program Recognizes New Graduates

At ceremonies on February 12, students in the Youth Occupational Skills Training (YOST) program at Delgado Community College graduated from the program.

The YOST program at Delgado is designed to assist young people ages 18-24 in acquiring occupational skills training which will prepare them for sustainable employment in the field of their training.

The YOST program is a partnership between Jefferson Parish and Delgado Community College, with funding provided by the Jefferson Parish Workforce Development Board Youth Committee.  

The Greater New Orleans Hotel and Lodging Association Hospitality Education Foundation is also a partner with the Delgado YOST program.

Pictured at their graduation ceremony are the latest completers of Youth Occupational Skills Training (YOST) at Delgado. The YOST program prepares young people between the ages of 18-24 for good jobs in a variety of high-demand fields.
