Celebrating the First Delgado Leadership Institute Cohort
September 29, 2025
Through a generous $50,000 grant from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation, Delgado Community College launched the Delgado Leadership Institute (DLI)—a new initiative designed to nurture future leaders within our College.
The DLI enhances employees’ understanding of the community college system and its multifaceted operations, strengthens professional skills, and empowers participants to grow. Through strategic planning and continuous development, the DLI fosters innovation, self-improvement, and progress, paving the way for a stronger and more dynamic future for Delgado.
This fall, we celebrate the success of our first cohort, led by Chancellor Larissa Littleton-Steib. Thirteen employees began their journey in September 2024 and officially completed the program with a ceremony on September 17, 2025.
Congratulations to our inaugural graduates of the Delgado Leadership Institute as they use their new insights and skills to serve our students, colleagues, and community!
