Delgado Students Awarded Scholarships from Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society

Lamani Allen has been selected as one of only 18 students to receive Phi Theta Kappa’s Spring Walgreens Pharmacy Technician Certification Scholarship.

As a Walgreens Pharmacy Technician Certification Scholar, Allen will receive a $250 scholarship award to pay for Pharmacy Technician Certification exam fees.

The scholarship application is open year-round, and winners are selected twice a year, in the spring and the fall.

Justin Gesler has been selected to receive the StudyBuddy TEAS & HESI Prep award, a $300 value.

Phi Theta Kappa has partnered with StudyBuddy to provide members with access to StudyBuddy.live, an eLearning platform that provides completely asynchronous online courses that focus on conceptual understanding of the material to help students achieve higher scores on exams.

Delgado Community College celebrates 100 years of service to the New Orleans region in 2021-22.
