Rosenzweig Leads Workshops at World Stem Cell Summit

Dr. Amanda Rosenzweig, college-wide Biology Department chair and director of Science Teacher Technology Training (ST3), participated in The Future of Medicine Day at The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science in Miami, Florida. The event took place January 20.

At the January 21-24 Phacilitate Leaders World and World Stem Cell Summit, also in Miami, Rosenzweig helped host and facilitate workshops for K-12 outreach for parents and students to engage in scientific inquiry focusing on microscopy with Foldscope Instruments. The workshops were supported by the Regenerative Medicine Foundation, InnovATE Bio, the National Center for Biotechnology Education, Advancing Research Impact in Society (ARIS), ST3 of Delgado Community College, Madison Technical College, and the National Science Foundation ATE Coordination Network for Advanced Manufacturing of Cell and Tissue-based Products.
