The New Orleans Saints are teaming up with Delgado Community College Culinary Arts and Sanderson Farms to distribute boneless chicken meals to four separate communities in need of support following Hurricane Ida.

The donation series kicks off Saturday, Oct. 9 at the Little Caillou Volunteer Department Station 3 in Chauvin, La., and will run bi-weekly through Dec. 4, with the three additional locations to be announced. The Saints and Red Cross are working together to determine each location.

Sanderson Farms is providing 25 cases of boneless skinless breast for a total of 375 pounds (1000 6-ounce fillets) and 24 cases of boneless skinless thighs for a total of 360 pounds that will be distributed to locations within the four selected parishes.

Delgado Community College Culinary Arts students and faculty are preparing, cooking and packaging the meals. Delgado will also play a key role in the distribution process.
