Students enrolled in the Hospitality Management, A.A.S. program have two concentrations to choose from: Hotel & Lodging Management, and Meeting & Event Management. Below are facts about potential salary ranges and job opportunities awaiting our students after graduation.
Hotel & Lodging Management Concentration
The hotel and lodging industry offers a wide variety of management positions including Guest Services, Operations, Facility Management, Sales, Human Resources and Food and Beverage.
Salary Range
$47,000 to $77,000

Concentration Learning Outcomes
- Identify various leadership styles and their applications
- Define the traditional divisions of the hotel industry and their organizational structure
- Explain supervision processes used to impact problem-solving, conflict resolution and team building
- Identify effective communication methods used with internal and external customers
Meeting & Event Management Concentration
Content for this concentration is designed to assist students in a pathway to lead to supervisory or management positions with logistics, convention services and meeting management.
Salary Range
$30,000 to $65,000 plus gratuity
