Veterans Priority Registration
This is for nursing students only. All students participating in Veterans priority registration must have already submitted documentation to Ms. Stacey Thompson by the deadline (May 1st for Summer & Fall classes & December 1st for Spring classes). Documentation is only required to be submitted once. You will then remain on the priority list until you graduate.
Level I
You can apply for priority registration with Ms. Stacey Thompson by Thursday, December 4th, as directed in your New Student Advising Packet. Ms. Thompson will notify Mrs. Sanders of all eligible students. Priority registration will take place on Friday, December 12th. You will receive an email from Mrs. Sanders to schedule an appointment time.
Level II
Contact Ms. Smart at psmart@dcc.edu with your name, contact information (phone number), and LoLA number by Friday, December 5th at noon. Please do not email Ms. Smart before December 1st. Please identify priority registration in the subject line of your email. Priority registration for this level will occur on Wednesday, December 17th. Ms. Smart will respond to your email with additional information including the exact time you are assigned to register on December 17th. You must be at a computer while talking to Ms. Smart on the phone for registration Wednesday, December 17th.
Level III
Contact Bridgette Dufrene at bdufre1@dcc.edu with your name, LoLA number, email address, and phone number by Friday, December 5th at noon. Priority registration for this level will occur on Wednesday, December 17th. Ms. Dufrene will respond to your email with Sign-Up Genius information for you to choose a convenient time to register on December 17th. You must have access to LoLA on a computer during this meeting.
Level IV
Contact Dr. Barrow at 504-571-1382 on Wednesday, December 17th between 9a-4p in order to register.
