Jennifer Bennett serves as the Interim Dean of Liberal Arts, Social Sciences, and Education, bringing over 25 years of experience in higher education to the role. Ms. Bennett holds a Master of Arts in English Literature from Louisiana State University and began her career in higher education as an English instructor, teaching her students to write essays and think critically. Her leadership path led her to serve as the Chair of the English Department, where she oversaw the daily operation of the department and faculty mentorship. She later served as the Assistant Dean of Arts and Humanities, managing diverse academic programs and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration. Her extensive background as both a faculty member and an administrator allows her to lead with a balanced, collaborative perspective, ensuring that the humanities, social sciences, and education programs continue to thrive under her guidance.
