Executive Dean Sidney Collier Site

Dr. Theresa DeGruy has more than 24 years of experience in higher education.  She is a proud graduate of Jackson State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree.  She also earned a Ph.D. in Counselor Education from the University of New Orleans. She has experience in college administration, academic and student affairs, mental health counseling, Title IX investigation, academic advising, and student conduct issues.  She currently serves as the Executive Dean for the Sidney Collier Site and Executive Director for Academic Success Initiatives. Dr. DeGruy is a Licensed Professional Counselor and passionate about mental health and wellness.
