Angela M. Camaille, Ed.D

Angela M. Camaille, Ed.D. serves as Acting Executive Dean of the West Bank Campus and Director of Instructional Technology, Support, and Professional Development at Delgado Community College. She brings extensive leadership experience in academic affairs, instructional technology, and online education, with a strong record of advancing institutional effectiveness, enrollment growth, and student success.

Dr. Camaille earned a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership, where her dissertation focused on community college transformation. She also holds a Master of Arts in Philosophy from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of New Orleans, along with additional graduate coursework in English and Business.

Her professional background includes leadership roles overseeing instructional technology, faculty development, and institutional technology strategy. She has also served as Interim Chief Information Officer, providing executive-level oversight of IT operations and strategic planning, and has led major initiatives in online learning, classroom modernization, and digital access. Dr. Camaille has supervised multi-campus teams, guided large-scale technology implementations, and developed policies to ensure quality, accessibility, and accreditation compliance in online and hybrid education. 

With a foundation in philosophy and ethics, Dr. Camaille brings a thoughtful, analytical approach to leadership, emphasizing innovation, collaboration, and data-informed decision-making to support both students and faculty across the institution.
