Timothy R. Stamm

Timothy R. Stamm currently serves as Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs / Provost at Delgado Community College.  Education highlights include dual bachelor’s degrees in counseling/clinical sociology/social work and mass communication from Loyola University in New Orleans; a master of fine arts in communication from the University of New Orleans; and a master's in library and information science from the University of Southern Mississippi. Career highlights include: multiple service on the executive board of LOUIS, The Louisiana Academic Library Network, which included two terms as board chair, with recognition as a leader in librarianship in 2016; service on American Library Association (ALA) subcommittees for community college librarianship and cataloging and metadata standards for electronic resources management; service on numerous review committees as a peer reviewer evaluator for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC); service on a taskforce/workgroup that looked at  incorporating alternative and experiential activities as ways to demonstrate qualifications for faculty teaching in vocational-technical, occupational, and terminal career instructional programs.
