Arlanda Williams

Arlanda Williams has senior administrative responsibility for the areas of Workforce Development, which provides job training services and continuing education. Also, under her leadership are the Delgado Maritime and Industrial Training Facility, the Advance Manufacturing River City Site, the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program, several major federal grants, and the Small Business Center. 

Williams serves on various boards and commissions throughout the state of Louisiana: Terrebonne Parish Levee and Conservation District, New Orleans Workforce Development Board, Jefferson Parish Workforce Development Board, Terrebonne General Hospital System Board of Commissioners, Ochsner Medical West Bank Advisory Board, West Bank Industrial Association, and many others.

 Williams is a graduate of Southern University at New Orleans, having earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice, and is also 2014 graduate of Southern University at Baton Rouge with an Executive Master of Public Administration degree and a 2022 doctoral graduate of the Nelson Mandela School of Public Policy at Southern University. She is a graduate of Leadership Terrebonne 2007 and a graduate of the LCTCS Certified Workforce Developer Program.
