Delgado and Construct Education Announce Partnership to Launch Workforce-Aligned Digital Learning

Delgado Community College and Construct Education have partnered to co-develop a new generation of online learning experiences focused on digital skill-building and workforce readiness. The collaboration aims to close regional skills gaps through career-focused education.

Construct Education partners with educational institutions and corporations globally to design and deliver online, hybrid, and workforce learning solutions. With a focus on quality and accessibility, Construct empowers organizations to scale digital learning that delivers real-world impact.

The partnership’s first milestone, an online Digital Literacy course, was delivered on June 30. This marks the start of a multi-phase initiative to expand Delgado’s online curriculum. Construct is contributing its full-service expertise in instructional design, technology integration, and media production to support Delgado's faculty in crafting learner-centered content aligned with the needs of Louisiana’s labor market.

Through this initiative, Delgado Community College seeks to:

• Strengthen career-focused programming, especially in high-demand fields like healthcare.
• Modernize its curriculum with scalable, hybrid learning models that meet the needs of working learners.
• Build faculty capacity to sustain long-term digital transformation beyond the scope of the SCC grant.

Construct’s involvement not only accelerates content development, it also empowers Delgado Community College’s internal teams through collaborative design processes and custom training.

This partnership supports state-level priorities by equipping students with credentials in fields such as Sterile Processing and Dental Assisting. These areas have been identified as critical by Louisiana’s economic development agencies.
