Delgado Ranked Among Nation’s 50 Best Online Community Colleges

Delgado Community College has been ranked among the 50 best online community colleges nationwide by Best Value Schools. The ranking was published on the organization's website in November.
Delgado Community College was ranked 45th nationwide.
This ranking was created using information from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) and the National Center for Education Statistics' College Navigator database. The top 50 schools (one from each state) were selected and ranked based on points awarded in the following categories:
- Selection of Online Degrees and Certificates
- Retention Rate
- Graduation Rate
- Tuition and Fees
Founded in 1921, Delgado Community College is Louisiana's largest and oldest community college. As a fully accredited two-year college, Delgado offers more than 100 different programs of study, plus technical training, professional development and continuing education offerings. There are seven Delgado locations in the greater New Orleans region, including Metairie and the West Bank.

Delgado's fully online certificates offer training in uncommon but highly marketable fields like web development, entrepreneurship and logistics technology. For example, the Website Designer C.T.S. imparts a solid understanding of both business and technological principles while preparing students to become certified Internet Webmaster JavaScript Specialists.
