Computer Curriculum Course Updates for Continuing and Returning Students

As part of our ongoing efforts to align our program with industry standards and improve clarity for transfer and employment opportunities, most course titles and course numbers in the curriculum have been updated effective Fall 2025.

What You Need to Know:

• Course content remains largely the same, but you may notice different course titles and numbers listed in the catalog and on the degree plans, transcript..
• These changes will have a minimal impact your academic progress. Courses you have already completed under the previous titles/numbers will still count toward your degree or certificate.
• Registration is different.

How To Find and Register for Renamed Courses:

• When registering for ADOT, CMIN and CITS Courses in LoLA/Banner, they will be under the SUBJECT: Computer Info and Tech Systems.  The new Courses are listed as CITS with new numbers. The changed titles are listed below.
• When registering for CNET and certain CMIN and ELST Courses in LoLA/Banner, they will be under the SUBJECT: Networking and Cyber Security.  The new Courses are listed as CNCY with new numbers. The changed titles are listed below.
