The Delgado Community College Foundation hosted its 2026 Roast of the Town on April 10 at the Sheraton New Orleans, bringing together community leaders, partners, and supporters for an evening of laughter and impact.

The event honored New Orleans Mayor Helena Moreno for her leadership and commitment to workforce development, while continuing a 24-year tradition of raising support for Delgado students.

Guests enjoyed a lively program featuring roasters Hon. Joseph Giarrusso, Aimee Quirk, Hon. Cedric Richmond, and Hon. Jason Williams, with Michael Hecht serving as Master of Ceremonies.
The Foundation extends its sincere thanks to this year’s generous sponsors for making the event possible: All Star Electric, Liberty Bank, Ochsner Health, The Helis Foundation, Walter and Cathy Isaacson, RMS, and the Gayle and Tom Benson Charitable Foundation.

Proceeds from the evening will directly support student success, helping Delgado continue to serve nearly 25,000 students across the region.
