Financial Aid Eligibility

To qualify for Federal Student Aid students must meet certain criteria set by the U.S. Department of Education. Basic Eligibility Criteria include (but are not limited to):

• Be a U.S. Citizen, a permanent resident, or an eligible non-citizen
• Have a Social Security number
• Have a high school diploma or its equivalency
• Be enrolled in courses that apply to an eligible degree plan at Delgado
• Cannot be in default on a federal student loan or owe a refund on a federal grant
• Must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress
