How to Apply to the College and Register for Non-Credit and Workforce Classes

Step 1:  Application

  1. After you complete this information check your email for an email to continue this process. Please be sure to also check your Spam and Junk Email Folders. (Special Note:  Whatever device you have used to open the email, will be the device you must complete the application process.)
  2. Confirm Email and Set Password.
  3. Sign-In.
  4. On the Welcome Page, click Apply Now. (In Blue)
  5. Answer questions on the next three pages. (You will need your Social Security Number.)
  6. Page three choose a major.
  7. For Immunization, please choose a waiver.
  8. Next page - Agree.
  9. Done - You may choose to view.

Step 2: Review your LoLA Credentials

  • Check your email for your LoLA Credentials, which will be used to setup your Student Online Account

LOLA Login              

  • Input your Student Online Account User Name that was provided in the LoLA credential email you received/ or click New User setup in the Help box
  • Create a password by clicking onI don’t know my password
  • SelectVerify Information and input your personal information and select Next
  • Followinstructions to create a new password and select Next
  • Once password is successfully created, you can log in to LoLA

Step 3:  Set Up Your Student Online Account

  1. Input your Student Online Account User Name that was provided in the LoLA credential email you received.
  2. Create a password by clicking on I don’t know my password.
  3. Select Verify Information and input your personal information and select Next.
  4. Follow instructions to create a new password and select Next.
  5. Once password is successfully created, you can log in to LoLA

Step 4:  Register for Your Class in LOLA by following the directions below:

  • Click Student under Delgado Community College
  • Under Academic Links, selectRegistration
  • Select Register for Classes
  • Extended Semester
  • Click on the Level Tab and enter NONCREDIT
  • Hit Search and locate the class you are looking for
  • Click ADD to summary to select the course forregistration
  • Click Submit button in the Summary Section in the lower right hand side of the screen
  • If all of the requirements are met, the status of the course will change from "Pending" to "Registered"

Step 5:  Pay For Your Class

in LoLA by following the directions below:

  • click the home button and then student (highlighted)
  • to the right of the page, you will see payment processing
  • Select Account Summary under My Account
  • Click Pay Now to make a payment
