Service Status Definitions

The Office of Information Technology posts the status of our major services in the IT Service Status dashboard located on the OIT Homepage. You can click on any service to see additional information about what is affecting those major services. To help explain the status of key IT services at Delgado, the following graphics describe whether a service is available or experiencing some type of issue.

Service Status Description
green button with a check The service is functioning normally
orange button with an exclamation The service has experienced a minor issue and affects only part of the campus/site
red button with an X mark The service has experienced a major issue and is not currently available to most or all users at the college

How do I report a suspected issue?

The Office of Information Technology monitors the status of the servers that run most IT services at Delgado. Sometimes though, you may become aware of a problem before OIT knows.

There are (2) ways to report a suspected issue:

  • Call OIT at (504) 671-5500 or (504) 671-5627, Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.

  • Submit a Helpdesk request:
  1. Go to the dcc.edu homepage
  2. In the footer under "Online Services" select OIT Helpdesk
  3. Enter your LoLA (Delgado’s online student portal) username and password
  4. Click Something Broken
  5. Complete and submit the Something Broken form.
