First-Time Freshmen Orientation

All First-time Freshmen must participate in Delgado's First-time Freshmen Orientation Program. We offer Orientation In-person, virtually, and online. During Orientation, you will learn more about what it is like to take college courses, how to pay for college, and how to connect with Delgado's free support services.

Orientation is your First Step to Becoming Unstoppable. 

Step 1: Before Orientation COMPLETE:
  • Your FASFA
    You can complete the FAFSA online.

    Complete your 23-24 FAFSA for Fall 2023, Spring 2024, and Summer 2024 enrollment
    Complete your 24-25 FAFSA for Fall 2024, Spring 2025, and Summer 2025 enrollment

  •  Your Career Exploration Assessment by setting up your Focus 2 Career account using Dolphins as your access code. Please complete the Work Interest and Skills assessments.  
Step 2: Delgado offers students a variety of ways to attend Orientation. 

In Person Orientation.

During Orientation you will hear from faculty, create your first semester schedule, and learn how to check on your Financial Aid status. Events are offered In-Person and Virtually. Orientation events are between 3-4 hours long and they help you Start Delgado Right!
