First-Time Freshmen Orientation
All First-time Freshmen must participate in Delgado's First-time Freshmen Orientation Program. We offer Orientation in person and online. Online Orientation becomes available in July. During Orientation, you will learn more about what it is like to take college courses, how to pay for college, and how to connect with Delgado's free support services.

Visit our Financial Aid page for more information. - Complete Your Career Exploration Assessment by setting up your Focus 2 Career account using Dolphins as your access code. Please complete the Work Interest and Skills assessments.
STEP 2: ATTEND ORIENTATION
Students must pre-register for orientation.
Delgado offers in-person orientation to help our First-time Freshmen prepare for college. During an orientation session, students will learn about:
- Academic Responsibilities including their chosen major, available jobs, expectations and deadlines.
- Financial Responsibilities including tracking and understanding their financial aid, available payment options, and payment deadlines.
- Delgado's Support Network including some common first-semester pitfalls and how to avoid them.
Students will also have a chance to start working on their first-semester schedule and register for their first-semester course through LoLA.
