Dean's / Honor List
Dean’s and Honor’s List
The Registrar’s Office publishes the semester Dean’s and Honor’s lists at the end of each semester. The lists are inclusive of the date published. Any changes to a student’s eligibility for the Dean’s or Honor’s lists are not updated on this website after the date of publication. Students should consider their academic transcript, rather than these lists, as the official indication of honors earned.
Dean’s List
At the end of the fall and spring semesters, a Dean’s List is produced recognizing those students who have met the following criteria:
- Completed at least 12 hours or 9 hours (for the associate degree in nursing)
- Earned a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Earned a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0
- Not have an “I” (incomplete) grade for the semester
- Not have an “W” (withdrawal) grade for the semester
- Not have a grade below “C” for the semester
- Not enrolled in a developmental or English as a Second Language course for the semester
This honor designation will be noted on the transcript.

Honor’s List
At the end of the fall and spring semesters, an Honor’s List is produced recognizing those students who have met the following criteria:

- Earned a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0
- Not have an “I” (incomplete) grade for the semester
- Not have an “W” (withdrawal) grade for the semester
- Not have a grade below “C” for the semester
- Not enrolled in a developmental or English as a Second Language course for the semester
This honor designation will be noted on the transcript.
